The Worcestershire Regiment lost 82 officers and 931 other ranks (total 1013) between 1939 to 1947.  The average age of those who lost their lives was 26 years.

Of the total men who died 966 were killed in action or died of wounds. By far the greatest losses were between 1944-45 when 555 lost their lives.
