Trip to battlefields

I want to take my dad on a trip next year to the WW1 sites where my grandad fought. Have any of you got any tips? The trip seem to vary enormously in cost and I don't have loads of money but really would love to get him over there while he is still fit enough

I can highly recommend a Midlands company which is owned by an ex policeman and they are top as far as I am concerned they have pick up points all around the UK and most importantly thier prices are not pocket emptying thier web address is as follows www.battlefieldtours.co.uk.
I have been evrywhere with them including South Africa and would never consider going with anyone else Have a great time
