This booklet (88 pages A5 format) tells the story of the 1st Worcestershire Battalion’s involvement in 'Operational Clipper' and the follow-up action. It covers the period from the 10th November 1944 to 31st January 1945. This was the Battalions first assault on German soil and was one of the hardest battles they fought in most difficult circumstances.

In addition to the Battalion history some personal accounts from the men and local people who were there are also included.

The booklet includes many photos from the authors private collection and battle maps from the actions plus details of all the officers and a roll of honour list.

The booklet also includes full details and citations of the 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment men who were awarded medals during this action.

This updated and revised addition now includes a number of new photos and personal accounts.
