Killed in action 12th February 1916 (age 21), in trenches south of the road Armentieres to Wez Macquart.
Son of Thomas Lambert of 8 Tavistock Street, Bethnal Green, London.
His grave (number G. 16.) is at "X" Farm Cemetery, La Chapelle-D'Armentieres, France

George Lambert enlisted in to the Worcestershire Regiment at Finsbury Barracks on the 15th August 1914. He went to France on the 12th December 1914. Killed in action 12th February 1916 his original grave was at Map Reference Sheet 36 (scale 1/40000), Square I.14 b. 6. 5.
