Thomas Edward Jones was born in 1882 at Smethwich, Staffordshire.
Enlisted on the 11th December 1915 at Redditch. Residence was: 1 House 4 Court, Walford Street, Redditch
Occupation at time of enlistment as stated as Shunter. He was mobilized on the 13th June 1916 at Stourbridge
Posted to the 6th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment 13th June 1916. Arrived at the 48th Infantry Base Depot in France on the 5th October 1916 and was posted to the 10th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment the same day. Posted to the 2/7th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 14th Octobet 1916 (army number changed to 203318). Posted to 10th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 8th February 1918. Posted to the 17th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 12th April 1919. Transferred to Z Class Reserves on the 28th September 1919.
